Process Engg – Concept Selection

Purpose and Scope
Follows up well tie-in activities and understands the constraints of sizing the flowlines based on routing them along flowlines corridors. Familiar with Process Simulation software and performs simulation for simple units and pipeline networks including LGR monthly calculations for GASCO & ADNOC. Ability to differentiate between WHP, hydrostatic pressure, BHFP, BHCIP, etc. Uses DWS to input the CD related data. Checks reliability of surface well test data and correlates them with sub-surface data. Performs simulation for simple units and pipeline networks. Understands of the role of chemicals in oilfield equipment protection. General knowledge of the Artificial Lifting (AL) techniques and of the circumstances necessitating its use in the field. Grasps the different ways of presenting the content of a component in a mixture or of representing the dosing chemicals in a fluid.
