We have an opening for Senior Storekeeper” in one of the world’s most reputed Oil & Gas Operating Companies located in “Abu Dhabi”.
Experience:   6 years experience in engineering storekeeping with knowledge of Stores  Computer system .CSAP
 Qualification: Compilation of Technical Secondary Education (12 yews) or equivalent followed by one year formal framing in materials computerized system.

 JOB DESCRIPTION:
 Personnel’s duties shall include but not be limited to the following:
 a)         Directs  the  work  of the  Stores  Section  at  “Shop  Floor”  level,  deploying manpower and equipment as necessary.
 b)         Organises the location of materials and adjusts the storage space within the shelving, racking and yards to suit varying stock levels.
 c)         Checks all stores documentation to ensure accuracy prior to computer input or filing.
 d)         Organises  the  reservation  of  materials  for  forward  planned  maintenance including setting up files and records.
 e)         Maintains the material traceability register and the allocation of control numbers to certificates and materials in conjunction with the Section Supervisor.
 f)          Prepares the annual stock checking programme in conjunction with Supervisor.
 g)         Carries out physical stock check, investigates discrepancies, inform Supervisor and prepares necessary adjusting documentation.
 h)         Identifies materials which do not match the computer description, checks with users and reports to Supervisor as necessary.
 i)          Maintains up-to-date all stock control documents such as catalogues changes, combinations, inter stores transfer, return notes and adjustment notes to ensure that such documents are actioned correctly, speedily and effectively.
 j)          Supervises the rigging of equipment lifted from / to barges/vehicles and helps to rig extra-heavy and difficult equipment to ensure safety.
 k)         Coordinates with Supplier to replenish call-off order materials.
 I)              Performs other related or similar duties as assigned.
